Part Ark, Part of Leytonstone Arts Trail: Installation sur le slinky

For years, I am interested in Slinkies sounds. Frances Bowman asked to be part of Part Ark, an week-end of exhibition in a park, as a sound artist. I though that I could wake up my slinkies.

Installation sur le slinky is an interactive installation using slinkies as source of sound. I did it years ago in Montréal, (Installation sur le slinky). But this one, in London, is partly inspired by Robin Whittle research. While I was doing my own research on the slinky (Le slinky, Instrument de musique) I worked with slinkies for performances (Sans Escalier) as well as installation (Installation sur le slinky).

AWAY DAY
is a contemporary art installations and performances in three south London parks

Over 20 artists present new works as POST returns to Merton in south London with AWAY DAY. Engaging with suburban spaces of leisure, AWAY DAY is a series of site-specific artworks for three public parks: Mostyn Gardens in Morden, Wandle Park in Colliers Wood and Ravensbury Park in Mitcham. Diverse interventions, performances and temporary artworks accost visitors with imagined alternative realities and new mappings of these spaces during weekends in May and June.
