I Became Luminous is a experimental play produced by The Olga & Clarence Memorial Theatre Company for which I have been commissioned to compose the music for that I am going to perform live. I am doing bassoon, voice, glockenspiel, melodica and live electronics.

Hommage for 32 bassoons at Fou de Basson Festival

My pièce, Hommage for 32 bassoons around the public will be première at Fou de Basson Festival the 13th June 2011, Augoulême, in the Keep Court of the Castle.
The festival is still seeking bassoonists to get involved. Please contact them if you'd like to go to the festival. (clic here and here for full details)
The Festival have been cancelled, so was the première of Hommage.

Exhibition of my piece, Installation sur le Slinky version pour la Croatie, interactive sound installation at the Gallery Kortil, Rijeka, Croation from the 11th to the 22th of May. This version is on glass.

Sonia Paço-Rocchia je zvukovna umjetnica/ kompozitor /performerica/improvisator. Studirala je na Université de Montréal. Njen rad je prikazan u Québecu, Alberti, Kanada, Engleskoj, Belgiji, Srbiji, Njemackoj i Irskoj. Koristi tradicinalne i nekonvencionalne glazbene instrumente. Sonia radi i zvukovne instalacije što uključuje i interakciju publike. Nastupa samostalno kao i u nekoliko različitih ansambala, uključujući London Improvisers Orchestra. Nedavno je ostvarila nekoliko suradnji u mediju suvremenog plesa, live art-a i eksperimentalnog fizičkog teatra.
