Following the passing away of Pauline Oliveros last week, I felt like using accordion sounds.
This piece uses four times the same recording, changes rate and volume of each of the four automatically, following a form that contains some controlled randomisation. It is fair to say that this music will never be the same each time one listens to it.
Safari 10 seams to behave. Safari on iPad, that said, does not allow the change of volume by JavaScript nor any of the other iOS Browser I tried. Firefox 50. on Mac seams to sometimes cease playing and start again, but other than that seams ok, on iPad, no volume control. Chrome 10 on Mac does not comply to not preserve pitch, but does on the iPad, but as Safari on iPad, does not allow volume control over JavaScript. So, it sounds differently from one browser to another. On iOS you have to start the 4 sounds manually.
